Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga mindfully generates strength and heat through linked postures and fluid, energetic transitions. Weave together breath, movement and intention into a powerful, conscious practice!

Build or refine your practice so you can confidently engage with vinyasa power flow classes!
We will:

  • Experiment with linking breath and movement together
  • Play with sun salutation variations to cultivate ease and stamina
  • Practice transitioning smoothly from posture to posture (including preparing to jump forward, jump back and jump through)
  • Break down and examine foundational poses like chaturanga dandasana in more detail (including modifications)
